Its deff 100% Port 3000 - if you dont beleive me - go to cmd promt - type in TELNET <ip> 3000 and you will see as per 2.9 a count come up. Maybe Leo's program needs a update as the info might have changed?
Do you need this for siggys cos by default the user count im sure is in SQL anyhow ---
you are right, it does store usercount in sql but using that info is redundant as its not realtime. also i checked using telnet and it reads usercount ok, but php dont seem to be reading it.
