This is why you switch to sky, better service, more channels, and best of all, a muuch nicer interface and remote control

Sky BB is a pile of crap, better of going with someone else, as for TV, you can't beat their service.

Agreed Sky Boadband is a pile of pooh, my mum uses it and has had nothing but problems since day 1.

BT for internet, just dont get the BT Home Hub, i had alot of trouble with that wireless, it just decides to stop broadcasting when it feels like it, sometimes for a few mins sometimes all day :D

Hmm my only probl is that i dl a hell of a lot of crap and i dont want a cap i might just ask for a better upload as virgin is breaching a contract by getting rid of sky as i signed up to a contract they should bend over backwards

Satellite broadband is horse. You can't upload through it so your upload speed will not match your download speed properly, you have to upload over your phone cable.

Dont rush to change, The National Consumer Council are going to attempt to rape both Sky and Virgin over the matter. Virgin claimed they dropped them because of the unrealistic price demands by sky. I cant find out what Sky are claiming.

But basically the entire thing isnt in the intrest of consumers, so The Office of Fair Trading, and other groups will be attempting to nail them both on the matter. The current situation is some kind of "Super Complaint" (Thats what its actually called lol) against Sky and Virgin.

You can bet your ass they will return the channels.

Edit:

The National Consumer Council (NCC) has the right to submit a "supercomplaint" over a feature of a market which is "significantly harming the interests of consumers".

A supercomplaint can lead to enforcement action by the OFT, the launch of a market study, or referral to the Competition Commission.

Yeah but that doesn't stop the fact that Sky > NTL in terms of how the menu's work and how user-friendly their whole setup is.
