Virus Spawns from Mir 3 - wtf?!

hi all

this could just be me being paranoid about server files lol, i did drop my FW tonight so maybe it could be possible that theyve made their way onto my computer when FW was down, but i didnt do much when it was down except piss around with server files so, anyways

got mir 3 working (yay) did nothin else except mess around with files...

anyway i close files down and then press CTRL+ALT+DEL - doesnt work (shows the green box by the clock but no sign of CPU activity)


anyway i reboot my computer, log onto the net etc etc anyways CMD appears, and starts loading a few things, so i CTRL+ALT+DEL and i have **** like this ::

so AFAIK mir 3 files are riddled with virus' so who's doin it? ppl who are releasing or the chinese?


bit lame tbh i mean if its the ppl releasing them, they only shooting themselves in the feet, the only way mir 3 is going to progress is via community and if all they doin is spreading virus' round the community, many ppl will be like "well fk that, cba getting virus' "

so wtfs goin on!?

visio and CruelDragon3.38+ is virusfree afak but all other eg king versions and older crueldragon contain realy nasty virus/trojans so be carefull

reasons? nobody knows i would say lol maybe the creators of these files want to steal account data or ideas from server hosts

The 3.38 I have Reconstruct (unpacket) and I have see nothing, no virus.

<-- 5 virus ^^ to hard, check all you other Programs. If you use 8HH Tools or other Chinese Tool Kick this from your Server the most have virus insite.
the rest look at Tritons Post. ähm Triton the first visio has a virus, the last 1.45 don't have.

can u send me unpacked 3.38 server coly? maybe its possible to get rid of the 110 user limit on an unpacked version as well as modding it so we get rid of all the chinese jibbering ingame that is not controled by setup scripts outside the exe

the chinese dont put viruses/trojans in their files on purpose lol. they use packing tools, cheap ones, off warez sites and not paid for, which contain the trojans (they are probably unaware at this point).

@drowning, how do u know its do to with mir3 at all? if you put your firewall down anything can get in. i highly doubt its because of mir.

so true lol but on the other hand these little freaks ensure the profit of a whole new industry in the it business: little antivirus companies grown very strong meanwhile selling big enterprise packages of their antivirus tools to big good paying companies of all kind for quite high prices hehe
