Virus

Right, i got sum sort of virus thing, when i tried to get on games, such as champ man, savage eden, mir ect, all the .exe's had gone corrupt, and had expanded in size, like my mir.exe was about 956kb instead of bout 750kb, so i installed AVG. It kept comin up with a virus found...and it was called Win32/Parite (i think).

I did a full ascan, it found about 500 infected files, so i cleaned it all up, it also got rid of a few virus's.

But its still happening :S lol, any idea how to get rid?

Format your HDD. The Parite viruses are some of the trickiest to get rid of.

That wasn't a format. You're going to need to do a real format.

Make sure you unplug the cables so you have no network connections at all, then install anti-viruses and a firewall, then connect and update all your software straight away.

on the toic of viruses i keep getting the same virus/trojan wen i turn my pc on i run AVG n it gets rid of it but it keeps comeing back when i turn my pc on -_- n now its got to the point of notbring able to be deleted -_- anyone help me please? (im running a scan now so i will edit the post when i no the name of it)

EDIT:its name is Trojan Horse Downloader.Siboco.B and for sum reason it cannot be moved or anyting =/

try a search on google just put in

Trojan Horse Downloader.Siboco.B

and it will bring some site up, like virus encyclopedia's, just read about it, and some give links for removal tools, thats what i did.

use panda antivirus. nuff said. i got the same virus u did sky and it took care of it easy. not to mention it nbotices trojans etc etc. panda antivirus.
