Vista and MSSQL 2000

Okay i've been researching threw some posts on here and i've found that some say the 2000 will work on Vista and other say it won't gonna see if my question is right

Can MSSQL2000 be ran on Vista?
Is their a guide to setup a Mir 3 server using MSSQL 2005? only one i see are for mir2

sql works fine on vista 32, but not 64bit.

2005 works fine too. however, the 3.55 files wont work on vista, only 3.38

if u want to use 2005 simply use the mir2 guide for sql, but restore the mir3 databases instead. and the mir3 guide for setting up odbc.

so none of the 3.55 or 3.56 files will run on vista only the 3.38 files?

ye just 3.38 im afraid, netcheck and holley crack refuse to run on vista.
