Wanting new base unit

Ok, i have monitor, keyboard etc.

All i need is a better base unit.

Decent size hard drive (80gig+)
Decent speed (2.5+)
512 (or more) ram as i have 1 gig i can add
CD/DVD rw

Now not sure what else, basically just a decent pc, but nothing mega special.

Wanting to spend £300 max.

Any ideas?

i used to work there. i suggest you call them up if you see something u like as they tend to have warehouse sales at 45% off, 100% if you have the balls to slip a few cpus down your pants. the warehouse is located at halfway so you can get there easy

you can try this place, ony of my old places of work used to get parts from here all the time. Its basically ex-stock from companies that go bust, refurbished items, and stuff like that.

What they are selling varies all the time because it depends what stock they have in, but usually you cen get some real decent stuff in there.
