I think the old system worked best as well, by the way. Warriors should be able to keep running after hitting - not being able to do so would seriously hurt their ability to fight effectively.

Equally, single cast spells like tbolt, FC should not hit running targets. The only time you could hit someone that way before was if they were slow or you just happened to catch them as they "landed" on a square before "stepping" to the next one. As a general rule though, I think it works best with warriors being able to charge around and wizards/taos being able to stop them by predictively AoEing the spot where they are likely to be.

Skyline thats the thing on here though no1s stupidly fast! Noone inless there cheating, ACPI doesn't work on here so its pretty fair.

As for the instant run after hit... if you a good wizz / tao you should be able to flinch that warrior when he comes in to attack you.

People are getting confused thinking were asking for Instant run after being hit, where not asking for instant run after being, where asking to be able to run after we have hit a target, so holding shift + right click together once locked onto target you will keep running and striking untill you are hit

I understand where your coming from Samuel but surely the. Wizz and Tao should not be able to run after they cast a spell too. As for clones/deva/shinsu they do need either there attack speed or acc reduced as clone for def rarely misses a warr. Also lion roar should be increased or the delay between walking to running reduced as at this time when you use lion roar by the time it's worn off you only just start running. Wizz and Taos can hit people while the person is running which could is not a huge problem unless coupled with clone/deva then it makes it near impossible to get close to them.

Samuel, just make it identical to 2.3, it was perfect on there.

Warriors

• Lock on to a target by shift left clicking
• Holding shift only whilst locked on will make your warrior walk towards your target and attempt to hit the target whenever they come within 1 space.
• Holding right click whilst holding shift will make your warrior run in which ever direction you point and attempt to hit your target whenever he passes within one space of you. Doing this does and should allow your warrior to instant run after a hit. This is not gaining an advantage, as remember you only land one hit before you are running away again.

Basically, holding shift alone should never make you run towards your target. Take this out and you should fix the issue.

Wizards/Taos

• Should not be able to hit any running target with poison, FC, tbolt or any other single hit spell. Wizards must use AoE to first slow down their targets to walk speed, and taos must use pets/pc etc.

The only way a tao or wiz should be able to instant run after casting a spell is if they keep hold of the spell button whilst running and do not let go of right click whilst casting. This allows them to instant run after casting (just like a warrior can instant run after hitting). This is ok though, because it takes some real skill to pull off (you need to be pointing your mouse in the direction you wish to run and time when you think the spell will cast which depends on how long you have had the button held down and when you character will reach the end of his "2 step run". When you think you are about to cast the spell, you have to rapidly move your mouse onto your single target in an instant, and then flick it back in the direction you want to instant run in, so its not easy). Infact Ive got to point out that this is how it was on euro 2.3 when I played a wiz - you always had to hover over a player to hit them, though I know on some other servers after you have hit them once you would then auto lock onto them. Im not sure what its like on here as not played a wiz yet, but if its auto lock then that is pants as it takes away so much skill from a wiz.

Make PvP reward good PvPers again.

Yep cheers I mean the person who does the hitting should be able to instant run, not the person who has been hit :)

*and deano I think means Struck, no Stuck :P*

yeah, how about, we all quit our warriors and turn the game more into a wizz/tao fest? Just how they seem to like it? :)

Ranged spells, poison and SFB have an aim assist (probably unintentional) that needs to be taken out of the game. Or warriors will always have a raw deal.

Are we talking about spell locks? If so, they should work for mobs, but not players I think.

I don't think there is any accidental spell lock coded in per se but there is however an accidental aim assist that shits all over warriors in PVP. I've never known the ranged classes to land so many consecutive hits.
