This thread is a funny read. You guys are terrible at specifics.
Spells come in 2 parts:
The first part where the player raises his arms (when you press the button and it is checked whether you have the MP)
The second part where the amulet flies out the player or the ice storm appears or whatever.
AoE = Damage is calculated on the AREA and any players in that area when the second part of casting occurs take damage.
Single Target = Spell Targets the PLAYER with the first part of the cast. Second part will only hit if the targetted player is within ONE space of his original position. So a walking player may still be hit as walking does 1 step at a time. A running player will avoid ranged.
