Webhosting - How much for...

How much, roughly would it cost for some decent webhosting for a forum that will probably get around 400-600 users at most times, and at peak times probably 800-1000?

Monthly?

It's a simple forum, nothing is really hosted other than attachments and nothing else is really run off it, maybe a few more websites but nothing that attracts anywhere near as many people.

buy a vps with 2gb of ram and enough allocated cpu. Use eaccellerator and memcached and you'll be flying. Use -- http://buyvm.net/

Unless you know what your buying when you go for a VPS, then don't bother going for one. They maybe cheap, but they are 90% of the time unmanaged and so you have to manage them yourself. You can get cheap enough hosting for a forum package or website/forum package combo, you just need to look around for what you want.
