ive started for the first time building a website using PhotoShop, its for a company hence the stuff, its gonna b based in HTML at the end of it, this is what it looks like atm. its got to be professional look with a computer theme.

any opinions on it?

i think the thickness of them borders make it look better but thats my opinion :P

Looks cool tbh. Keep the borders as they are but the Medu font needs changing imo.

First off - nice design, looks good, not too complex although I think the "content" area needs to be slightly wider, there seems to be alot of unused space that could easily be used.

Right, now some pointers...

1. These corners/edges need to be fixed, currently they look very amaturish and sloppy (i.e. they're not hard at all to get right first time). To someone looking at the site, a small detail like that would make them think that the designer was lazy.
2. Remove the AA on this text, it stands out compared to the rest of the other crisp edges.
3. As YoYoYo said, the font definately needs to be changed. Other than that, the menu looks a bit out of place. In my opinion you should make it a part of the interface so it blends in with the "side bar"
4. The border at the top of this grey bar isn't consistant with the rest of the outlining borders on the page, make the outer one thicker than the inner ones.

Other than those points (and the ones made previously), good job.

thx for ya tips il give em ago n see the results if i get time il post results 2, btw the text in the menu isnt staying like that anyways, its just for display 2 show were the menu would lie. im still picking out a finer text type summit in small pixal form but holds great detail in lettering

the edges was gonna be worked on i just wanted to make a template 2 just get the idea of it . i was gonna make the menu fit with the the menu sidebar but i found it looked really tacky so i optited for that way.

the gray lines in the middle was 2 not give it a complete bold effect as i know most of u noticed the boldness of it straight off heh, its my first attempt at that style n no prob il b working on it more at a later date, i have till NewYear 2 at least get a suitable version running so i should have time 2 mold the site into a nice one.

Im glad most of you liked it lol, once this proggy is over im intending to work on my site GoreGaming. Il Keep ya updated on progress.
