I had a quick sift through the first few pages and haven't seen any posts about how well the team has done so I just wanted to take 5 minutes out of my time to say that a big thank you and well done on the server is in order. Massive props to the entire team keeping Mir alive. This is easily the best server I have played since Euro, I owe all the team 1 rim-job or blumpkin x

what drives you to level is items.. but those items are so rare and so expensive you start to lose the drive....

1-30 the best time anything above... your going to get bored... I spent 5 years of my life playing the same **** just for it all to get wiped and deleted when the owners get bored (GN) starting to think it's a cycle...

I don't want to waste another 5 years...

and agreed when I play it doesn't feel like a private server

Quests is the answer, they need to put 3 different weekly ones in, that are timed maybe too. Some that are obscure, some that require group, some that don't.. This is what will keep it going, anything to help the grind. This is why someone dedicated to quests should be assigned (if they're not already).

Its the high player count and the low rate that gives it that feel of the official server.

Improved graphics really stand out on PI, untill I went there I didn't think that much of them.

Chronicles with all the old names from euro mir make it mir renaissance server.

Seems the drop rates of things were heavily lowered since beta. I'm guessing sam's trying to prolong things as much as possible.

Well, 30-40 wasn't very "fun" on Euro either tbh, but equpping that WSB / DragonSlayer when you got one, now that was fun.

Very fun server. All though i do see some peoples points.. I'm almost level 30 and hearing some peoples arguements kidna makes me dread leveling over that as i'm not sure what i'll be looking forward to. I do agree some level 30+ items should be a bit less rareish and add more content for 40+ as in items, caves etc. doesn't necessarly have to be a euro clone, it can have its own customes to make it more of its own signature. Thats my input though, good luck !

Can't see why'd they'd need to prolong things with the amount of designers they had, I guess with limited amount of graphics means limited amount of armour / weapon designs (which has always been a problem on mir).

Maybe if they opened their eyes a tad they'd realise i've made a model capable of creating armours and weapon movements (just gotta get and animate/rig the images for archers).
