What are mobs hitting me with?

Sorry to be a noob...

How do I know what I'm being hit with? I can see a mobs DC or Spell Power, but how do I know which type of attack they use? Also how do I know if it's elemental and which element?

I get that I could try stacking the correct defense to try and work it out, but just want to make sure I'm not missing some sort of indicator...

What class are you? Where are you leveling?

Info is in the monster box that pops up when you go over them, damage type is left of the hp bar

The Grey chinese symbol on the < of the name , in a small square, means its hitting DC, and you need AC to counter it.

Anything else, a fireball , a lightning bolt etc, is an elemental attack, and you need MR.
