If you have no idea what the A+ or MCDST is, then unfortuantly your not going to get anywhere in the IT industry. Best look fo a job in another sector Tai.....

Why would I know what it was unless I'd already looked into it myself? We certaintly never covered it at A level...

Yeah i forgot my password and the e-mail account its registered with has been deleted so no chance of finding out what it is.

So would learning A+ and N+ be a bonus or is it not worth learning both sides?

A+ is a waste of time, as there is no money to be made in hardware anymore. But N+ is a good starting point to get into IT, as you learn the basics of DHCP/DNS/TCP/IP and network management.

Hate to say it but i've lived in Bournemouth for the last 5 years (At uni there) and the people that go out there are some of the biggest penises i've ever met. A lot of posh-up-themselves types.

Bar that though it is a good night out. :P

Ontopic: Still at Uni at them moment. Currently doing my disertation, would like to get into web design afterwards if i can.

Should see the state of my desk lol.

I have hard drives, memory, memory sticks, dongles, mobile phones, laptops scattered all over it. Along with numerous pieces of paper!

Im bored and being nosey, so ill get this thread started.

I work as a Business Administrator, Training for Level 2 Business Admin NVQ

I also teach microsoft office to learners for a course this company also does.

I went from sponging off the goverment (job seekers) to this fine little job £5.80 ph, so yeh it proves even if your at your lowest in life, you can sort it out.:thumbup2:

I done my Business Administration Lvl.3 NVQ in 6months through my last company (Along with customer service Lvl.2).. they are actually pointless tbh. Can understand why people mock NVQ as a 'Not very qualified'.

I work 4 days a week labouring and work 3:30am - 7:30am doing picking & packing. The work situation in this country is a joke tbh, sent C.V etc off to 20-30 companies last week for a variety of jobs... not 1 reply. I also heard the other day that the public services (Police etc) won't recruit anybody under the age of 21 due to 'lack of life skills'... lol?

@kyndigs: That is a mess? oO.

They won't recruit Police Officers under a certain age no, but you can still get a job within the Police doing other stuff.

I applied for 9 jobs today alone. Doubt I'll even get a single interview out of any of them.

Yep, it's ****.

My labouring is cash in hand... and the night work was just lucky as my cousins cousin needed someone xD.

Need a contracted day job tbh.
