What happened to pvp on this server??

If a smaller guild cap is not introduced the server will go the same way reunited did one guild mass recruiting the majority of the server and the game becoming boring due to not being able to compete for bosses. I know reunited had it's flaws that also contributed to its downfall.
Sorry it's not hard but you can form an alliance with another guild or merge with another guild.

Apex are def not a defence only guild lol multiple times I and others I gory with have been jumped by them. And ii still get plenty of kills it's just more annoying that every time they and others resort to calling in countless other people to fight a small group instead of accepting defeat and learning to pvp better.

You do realise that Apex is full already, right?

The guild limit is 100 members. At peak times there are 600+ people online? Last I checked, 100/600 is not a majority.

I'm struggling to understand the OP's post here, so someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

In a nutshell to me it reads the OP's game is being ruined because he's not able to ruin someone else's game by killing them, because whenever he gets the opportunity some other much larger group turns up & thwarts his attempt?

And as a resolution the OP wants to further cap the guild recruiting, just so he can have a better chance of killing people that probably aren't interested in PVP to further increase the enjoyment of his own game while ruining others?

Correct? Or....

Haha yeah. I suppose if OP ran into someone he wanted to PK and happened to be in a group that outnumbered them 5 to 1, he'd simply tell the rest of his group to DE and fight them 1v1, fair and square.

How silly. I mean out in the wild plains of Africa why do you think herds of none threatening animals like Gazelle stick together right?

Gone are the days where apex only attack known enemies or defend themselves. Ever since the guild was formed they'd hunt in large groups and jump anyone they came across, even if it's just a couple of people levellng.

Realistically I don't think a smaller guild cap will be introduced, and whilst I know this thread isn't necessarily just about apex it does seem to be focused on them, and given their favour with the people who run the server I can't see anything even being considered to make things more even.

The server count is at around 500 now, and 100 out of 500 IS a majority, given that the remaining 400 players are split amongst numerous smaller guilds or are guildless.

Apex wont change their tactics, but given there are so many of them and they still tend to level in smaller groups of 3 or 4 they shouldn't be difficult to find, and that's the time for revenge ;)

Big guilds always split, a big figure will get greedy, and split, taking a chunk with him, people get bored of not being in the fox boss kill group... give it time, things even out. at the moment, big guilds are king for levelling. later on, 15 elite members > 100 average ones. not because 15 beats 100 in a fight, but because gold splits in a guild of 15 are much larger, and mir doesn't take 100 people to kill anything.

As todd says their numbers will eventually die down. Their 50 man guild hunts will soon get tedious when people reach a certain level. Who wants to spend 45mins+ in a cave with those odds on a dice roll?

I think all guilds should b capped at 10 so that cheat guilds like DD and curse10 can rule the server.

Guild cap should be 50 members that way it is just under 10% of active players at one time. That way guilds will also have to make alliances and it makes the whole game more fun... I don't tend to pk but i will defend my mates and help them out.. being outnumbered isn't always a problem as it gives you a better ratio as they have more targets to attack.. I think maybe some people don't know how to use their class properly, i know i don't but i'm learning slowly. :p

I think some people don't really get it.

Apex1 Apex2 Apex3. Comms server.

Guild cap makes no difference.

Guild caps do not work. It's been tried, it sucks. Apex will not have such a large portion of the usercount in 2/3 months, I bet 55p on it. Might have even dissolved by then, or just be a core few. 3x full groups to ZT is boring as hell.

In regards to people getting bored of constantly spending gold, time and effort with dice roll after dice roll after dice roll, only to receive nothing due to there being 3/4x the amount of people required for the hunt? I think I'm spot on. This leads me to believe people will split in order to progress further kit wise, as numbers like that are more of a hindrance than a help in that respect.

Obviously I could be wrong and only time will tell, so we will see eventually I guess.
