In regards to people getting bored of constantly spending gold, time and effort with dice roll after dice roll after dice roll, only to receive nothing due to there being 3/4x the amount of people required for the hunt? I think I'm spot on. This leads me to believe people will split in order to progress further kit wise, as numbers like that are more of a hindrance than a help in that respect.

Obviously I could be wrong and only time will tell, so we will see eventually I guess.

I would be amazed if this doesn't happen. Groups within the guild form at first, then they split due to rows. guild gets smaller. it's natural that once 4 people can kill zt, you want a group of 4 to kill it.

Not how apex works from what I remember, for example once a warrior has a mace, he doesn't even get a roll on anything on mace or under, and if a wsb drops, and he won the roll the second highest roll gets his old mace and passes his weapon on and so on. Pretty sure that's the way they used to do it, this way guild continually gets stronger. The only problem with this method is the kit belongs to the guild rather an individual, but I think that's what Apex members agree to when they sign up.

How you distribute it is irrelevant. Still 1 mace between 100 people. passing your old wep on just means you win less, when you do roll that 1/100.

Cap on guild I agree with (max being 50 and starts with a cap of 10-20), encourages guilds to choose who they want in more wisely however that wouldn't stop those outside of the guild helping said guild but that is my opinion.

Apex were never that good even on euro they did try put me on a kos list but they did the dying, Cobra losing his mace then begging for it back, good times.

But either way you'll never stop bigger groups ganging up on the smaller ones, if your any good you'll take a few of them out while they're trying to take you out.

Today I've learnt that Apex always have 100/100 members online at all times!

You sure? Cos I have multiple streams of fighting the small "core" Apex groups with Aldor Stoney etc, only 5-6 ppl tops, going to ZT.

You sure those small hunts they're doing are benefiting the guild?

Wise up.

Last I checked, 100/600 is not a majority.

Oh, Jesus Christ. What?! In addition to probably shaving years off my life from brain cells killed reading this stupid thread, you're all now making me doubt my own sanity and words that I thought we had a pretty simple definition for.

http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/majority?s=t

noun, plural ma·jor·i·ties.
1.the greater part or number; the number larger than half the total (opposed to minority ): the majorityof the population.
What, so you're telling me that 100 now represents more than half of 600?

Please, since I'm obviously working off a completely different definition from the rest of you fine people, put me out of my misery and explain to me why I'm wrong. Bonus points for attempting to patronise me in the process.

I have already 'wised-up'. As I said, the core group you mention if they get a better weapon, or item etc, they don't store their old stuff for a rainy day, it's actively passed on to the next guy, who in turn passes on his stuff and so on. This way for example say a wsb or dss drops, the guy who wins the roll passes down his mace and so forth. As I said, this way benefits the whole guild, the guild's strength increases right down the board, instead of leaving items rotting in people's storage. As people get better kit so they level faster, so they are stronger as a guild so they can defend bosses, it really is a nice principle. The thing that is the fly-in-the-ointment is when people feel they have been skipped over, petty jealousy etc. You infer that this 'crack' team are keeping all the stuff for themselves, I don't believe that, true they get the rolls on stuff that drops for their class, but the rest of the guild also benefits from the passed on kit.

oh and btw I'm not, nor ever have been a part of Apex guild, just known a lot of people in it and the values it always stood for.
