SUM1 HELP ME, I RUN MY SERVER AND IT STARTS UP ALL FINE BUT IT LOADS EMERGENCY MAP THEN SAYS " Start Time Error " SO WHAT DO I DOOOOOO PLZ PLZ PLZ SUM1 HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The only time I had this error was when I went a bit overboard with the maps in mapinfo - I just cut back a bit, and all was fine. Basically the eiserver.exe has a timer built in - if the server takes to long to start up (in my case due to loading way too many maps in mapinfo.txt) you get the error...

ok thanx.... can sum1 plz send me a map info that works then plz lol ><

EDIT: i have made my mapinfo smaller and so on but it still says loading emergency map... starttime error =( sum1 help me !!!

Mate just check your DBServer configuration. Where it says Map File Dir it needs to point to where your mapinfo.txt file is NOT where the maps are. If you have the wrong dir there you will get that emergency map error and the startimer exception.

Would really be nice if some of these people actually posted back on whether the suggestions made here actually fixed it for them.

Really annoying when they just disappear and you don't hear from them until they run into their next problem! :)

Err, "Starttimer exception" If that's it, ignore it.

Never heard of the "Emergency Maps" error, though. Sorry I couldn't be of more help. :/

soz lol i didnt think anyone whould reply as i usualy dont get one >.<

errr what was the point of your post? If you don't know what the emergency map error is, why post at all?

look lol i have alot to do so i didnt realy check the post.... i only checked 4 replys when i posted just then...lol not my fault im trying to sort out a mir2 and mir3 server on my own at the sametime =/ (im not moaning tho lol they will b gr8 when i sort them out. and also the things above didnt work =( i get this error in the DBsvr....

DBserver initialized
Unable to connect to loggin server
[Win32 error] no connection could be made because the target machine activly refused it.
