Its a form of pay back to those using Tempest and exploding pet too much. Karma as you will.

Is it a pvp only skill?

Karma, Can only be used in stealth, attack style like Lotus, Your are unable to use potions for 10 seconds after attempting to attack.

Level 3 Karma:
  • Regular Monsters: DC*2 + 10~15% of targets current Health.
  • Boss Monsters: DC*2 + 400~600 Damage.
  • PvP: DC*2 + 40%~60% Current Health, (Note that Lotus is DC*2 + X% of your mana)

THC had a friendly mass brawl yesterday amongst guild members - Sin dps, since the dc changes, is really high (as it should be), it doesn’t feel like they need buffing further....

is this new formula from Kr sever? I remembered that in PVP it was damage=2*your total mana points, but can miss a lot due to level and players’ AC

THC had a friendly mass brawl yesterday amongst guild members - Sin dps, since the dc changes, is really high (as it should be), it doesn’t feel like they need buffing further....

I'd rather Karma not be added if cloak became useless again tbh.

Its not that strong really, in pvp it will only really buff us against Wiz and they are usually higher level than us. If we cloak and go straight into a bloom we do 2x DC and 16-30% of our mana anyway, which could total more than 40-60% of somebody's HP (without shield).

It wasn’t useless, it works on mobs and was designed as a method for ambushing not to be used mid fight...one of the best uses for swiftblade was to get sins out of stealth.

it sounds to long the no potting part
think of it in the no RT maps that no potting time is goin togo up loads i bet to what like 25 secs like the jump to skill ?

was just thinkin if you used the skill in goru cave or banya iland that amount of time might get you killed ?

Same, the recent changes to cloak have made it feel useful and not just as an escape (people also seem to forget that cloak can’t be cast in combat meaning we have to use Puppet with its 30 second cool-down if we want to disappear once combat begins - not to mention that higher levels can see us cloaked anyway).

I say give it the weeks trial that’s been proposed and see where we are this time next week, bag drops have been turned off so it’s not like anyone is going to lose anything and if it’s found to be over powered I’d happily have it removed and reworked before implementing it again.

People seem to forget that in the current standings we are the slowest PvE, the worst PvP, one of the more expensive classes to level, have minimal kit/character development and our last spell is at Lv.47 (and it’s a buff, our last active spell was at Lv.45!)... I’m bored out my mind at Lv.55 so I can’t imagine what the guys at Lv.60+ must be feeling like... let us have something for once please, people are claiming it’s going to be OP before it even makes it in to game.

I’m happy to have the 10 second no potting after use, simple risk/reward type scenario meaning u have to think before using the spell and can’t simply just be dropping it at every opportunity.

It’s only really high if we successfully complete a full cycle of Lotus skills, otherwise we are hitting no different to what we were a week ago, if anyone is silly enough to exchange blows long enough for us to complete a cycle then bigger fool them (I’d still wager that a similar level War would fancy their chances going toe-to-toe and exchanging blows).

Would also like to know how this is going to work, because if it’s only in for a weeks trial and is as rare as say the other Lv.40 books then no one will even get the skill before the weeks over haha!

cant see it changing anything tbh. pointless using vs wizz as they will be higher level than you anyway thus makign your sneak attack visable

then theres the fact they will be sitting in tempest so youll be half HP by the time u get close enough to hit, so youll do **** dmg with it anyway

funny some peoples reactions to it tho. feels like theres only about 10 active sins right now. if you want everyone to reroll cos sins arent in line or balanced with other classes might aswell just delete then cos will be no one still bothering to persevere with them. maybe kingtony with his **** kit (couldnt help it sorry)

smack it in for the week trial i guess but im thinking most sins that are left didnt really want karma added anyway, i would have preferred it properly reworked into something original maybe.

on a positive note, loving the PvE side of server. boss strength and mob strength appear to be spot on. banyo exp issues aside, as a PvE server its pretty on-point

I wish more people were watching the friendly THC brawl the other night, Fairy, Own and KingTony really weren’t lacking in dps in PvP and this was against warriors with DC 265 - 275; RaW and Exodus. If we weren’t a higher level (assualt/beckon our biggest advantage) we would have died even more. The Sins didn’t even stack agility which makes a huge difference vs warrs yet most overlook it...(I know stacking agility is circumstantial, just like stacking DC is for a warrior).

I think Sins struggle vs wiz spam but then again don’t we all? Higher level wins across all classes....

Sins need buffing in PvE not PvP..
