Random late night question.

In books you have volumes, in each volume you have chapters. what is the word for the next smallest part after a chapter? if any.

google does not know this answer, and i need 3 stages of sizes related to books.

if nothings smaller than a chapter, is anything bigger than a volume? or something in between volume and chapter?

excellent thanks,

volumes > books > chapters is what ill use, i think anything smaller than that is too small for large chunks of information.

There is something lesser than chapters but greater than pages, they're generally separate by by a line or a *, but I don't know what they're called :/
