What is that thing, where you can put images on ur cd?
is it a cd writer? i mean like. Putting images on cds. I dont want to print out and stick on. Or unless thats what i have to do. But sometimes ya can get dvds from people that luk like the original dvd lol. Anyone know anything?

My dad has a special insert which attaches to the printer and allows you to print an image directly onto a disk - if thats what you mean?

you usually need special cds to print straight on to them (only available through certain printers).

not sure of a name for a program that u can do it though sorry.

You sir are correct, because my mother use's the same thing.

It attatches to your printer exit and as the disk goes through the printer it prints to the disk.

try epson R series printers I am using R320 and it's much better than lightscribe (1 color different shades)

epson R series is inkjet so you need printable dvds (usually 10% more expensive than the regular ones). otherwise you will need labels for those shiny dvds.

They do feel like paper, but they don't get peeled off like sticky labels (thus damaging the drive).

If you have tons of cash you can look at thermal printing (1-2 color) http://www.primera.com/products_printers.html thermal means that you can print on shiny surface.

as far as im aware it wld b impossible to print on a double sided dvd. a dvd working by dints in the disc would then have no effect if ink was sprayed over it.
