What is the purpose of greatwall? what is the intention? or purpose?
So far it is useless skill ever
It's function is to be the shittest 44 spell ever :P
Nah seriously this should of been a 33 spell or something, it doesn't really live up to the standards off a 44 spell.
It's purpose is to block oncoming players, slowing them down and to also negate some monster damage. I'd say it's pretty bad, just as bad as... darkbody! But you think that's fine don't you![]()
I tested it with Sil over and over again - it is awful, as soon as you move the wall breaks etc.
If the Monk was designed to block low level bosses into corners for other low levels to kill - then it is ideal.
However, when people are soloing GK - I don't think anything ingame needs to be walled.
Perhaps Forsaken could make 20 Monks with this Skill for SW?![]()
Monks are a slightly tanky class, I would've thought it's an incredible skill in cave fights when two sides come together. If the clones had decent HP they lock the opponent in almost. Combine a greatwall with a blizzard/meteorstrike and they are lambs going to slaughter.
I was thinking originally it may be good for fights in corridor-like areas, like halfway through Hell 3rd, last floor in orcs or whatnot, 2/3 Monks lining up could create a wall right across the floor, wall to wall. Sins/Archers might be less inclined to SS over into the other group if the rest of their group cant also dive in, particularly the warriors. but all it takes is one big wiz spell or a dash/repulse.
Has anybody tried dashing/repulsing the clones? does it work?
