I've recently started driving again, im using a Ford Focus 1.6 LX (Black) 5dr and i'm looking for a nice sound system. I don't want to go over the top as i have plans on using MTX when i finaly get my Van. So maybe Pioneer, JVC or Kenwood.

So if you know any places based in the UK that i can either order online or visit locally then let me know please. I want a full system too, priority is the stereo, needs to support Aux, Bluetooth and Sub control.

Looking at spending around £250 - £500 for this setup , just to get me going.

Nothing, just use stock speakers & not be a doofus.
I agree, most stock speakers are more than good. You could just buy a sub-woofer to stick in your boot and a HD Stereo if you really want to expand. It should cost less than £200.

Exactly, im not being a doofus lol ... its what i want, i like to drive with a nice sound system. I also use a cinema set up when watching movies, am i a doofus?

Anyways i found a Pioneer stereos that supports bluetooth , aux and sub control , just got given an amplifier and will need a sub .. atm its costing me £49, so il spend like .. 150 on sub

You watch films to enjoy the experience, you drive to get places - fair play to listen to music while driving but you don't need "mint bass 4 da donk" - it's just stupid and makes you look like a twonk.

Each to their own though.

Well , i'm a new driver and i'm sure the novelty of being allowed on the roads will soon die off...The other reason is i am a dub junky, as in i produce dubstep and dnb, i know alot of people on here aint fans on it but its what i like and i cant appreciate it without decent bass, i don't plan on whacking it on full and making myself look a prick , i just like that deep quality bass sound you get when everythings set just right.

Like you said, each to their own.

Get a used cheap Shaker 1000 system out of a S197 Mustang. They are dirt cheap and very good. I still have my stock one in mine.
