Everybody has their own 'style'. Also, certain people (Myself included) have expensive taste. As long as I can remember I've always spent more money on clothes / trainers / shoes than I do on anything else. Could even call it a hobby I suppose.

You guys may think that it's a stupid 'hobby', but I would rather spend my money on nice clothes etc rather than on my PC or w/e you would class as your 'hobby'.
