would do one of these:

like what mental said id renevate a house for profit.

buy a very nice car for myself.

go on holiday.

or simply put it in the bank to collect interest for when i need it the most. whilst adding spare cash to it when i can.

Buy oil

10,000GBP = 21,000USD
100USD (or there abouts) = 1 barrel of oil
21,000 / 100 = 210 barrels

Keep for a few months

Sell 210 barrels for going rate (at the least) 125USD par barrel
125 x 210 = 26,000USD (or there abouts)
26,000USD = 12,500GBP

2,500GBP for doing nothing

like what mental said id renevate a house for profit.

Me and my mate develop property. At present we have 1 x 2 Bed Detatched Bungalow (below), a 2 bedroomed apartment below, a 3 bedroomed semi (which is being rented short term till were ready to start on it, and a 4 dedroomed detatched house which is also being rented short term until we start work on it. We have just sold a 2 bed semi-detatched bungalow.

The Matrix!!
good money?
If the property is bought at the right price. The profit can be huge. I cant go into to much detail, but an up-and-coming project could to land almost 60k if it sells for whats expected.

expensive?
It can be, it depends on the extent of what we do to the property it can be anywere in excess of £20k per job. Obviously a quick tidy up wont cost much, but we prefer to do it right.

hard work?
[/QUOTE]
Very hard. Its just me and my mate for the best part. We have a plasterer, sparky & plumber. Although we do first fix on all electrics & plumbing and they just come and do the final fix. The end result is worth it. The 2 bed flat used to be my mates (who i work with) pet shop 12 months ago.

Like MentaL, put it towards a house, its getting harder and harder to get on the property ladder these days.

An average wage in the UK cannot get you a morgage.

Besides with divorce rates increasing over the years, its getting harder to find a long term rich parter to buy a house for me. Lol.

Consult my God mothers husband, and invest it, and get good money from that. (investment from banks sucks... better off putting into buisness's etc..)

In that case i'd see about getting your ''rock hard pectoralis major'' dealt with.

But on seconds thoughts, i'd probably buy a car, or just bank it.
