as i can see only weapons can be special repaired.

But u cant special rep accessoires or armours at all? Or is that just exclusive for game shop later?

Special repair for items other than weapons was always a trash idea. The only way the economy can work is if items go in & out.
The only other alternative is item refining, that has a chance to destroy them.

i dont think so, there is no other game on the entire market that makes use of such kind of a mechanic and the economy works perfectly fine. I guess u still can drop items on death, no? which isnt an option in those other games. I dont see why i should grind ages for items or pay millions for them to decay after a couple days / weeks to a point where its just freaking annoying to level because i have to run back every 20 minutes to repair my dura 2 super ring / armour etc. i feel like this mechanic is nothing more than frustrating for a player. But thats my personal opinion.

thats why i quit chronicles. At least its not a pay 2 win option as it seems on this server where you have to buy it in the ingame shop. (as far as i can tell)

I guess i pass on this experience then :/

You're right, diminishing over time is ****, but so it keeping them forever. Mir isn't exactly known for constant item progression. Most people will sit in the same items after a week, for the next year.

Most games have 1 of 2 options.
- A way to destroy items (upgrading chance etc)
- Fast turnover so you are always aiming for something new.

At least its not a pay 2 win option as it seems on this server where you have to buy it in the ingame shop. (as far as i can tell)

What do you mean by this? I was speaking in general terms, i have no clue whats in the GS here now.

Mir 2 never had special repair for accessories, one of the reasons I favored mir 3.

i never really played mir 2 except of mir chronicles, where i found this mechanic out and instantly hated it. It punishes progression (grinding) players with downgrading your gear, which is just not how its supposed to be in my oppinion.

But i guess i have to stay with mir 3 then if this is a mir 2 mechanic.

yes, so was it on the chronicle store. So its not really for economic reasons, that its not a feature of the game. Its just a pay2win mechanic. If the server is not p2w, as the items are not in store, they might aswell add the specialr repair npcs to the server. :)

Mir2 (pretty much every server i played in the last few years) generally has an abundance of gems which let you smash up all those shiny items too.

In any case, you need a way to take items out of the economy. and no, losing deathdrops to the timer is not a way.

Suggest this is the right way.
Stuff has to decay else there is no insentive to Gem/Refine, slog through that idiot maze Etc:
Else you just buy, use, then sell (probably at the same price)
just my thought
