So we had a fight today vs EyeDrops or w/e his name is ... i am a tao near lvl 40 missing a few % :) so basicly this archer Summons his clone near me and hits his clone with a spell then the spell hits me for half my hp ... i dont know what his lvl is and i dont even care but can you look into this ? and before people start to say anything yes i do say archers are stupidly OP they do really huge amount of damage with some skills !

Sounds like he might have used static shock, but half HP damage at lv39 seems very strange

this is crazy... i got 365 hp and i did not even have a poison on me or something Also the range that spel bounces is crazy aswell ... wtf is this ... is this mir or do i play some other game ? that spell bounces like from a part of the screen to the other ... + the damage it's doing to me is insane... i die in 2 hits if he gets lucky hits if not i can die in 3 hits -.- ...

Yup this needs fixing immediately.

Archers spawn clone, and fire static shot at it. Bounces onto enemies doing massive damage. Its a free shot. They dont even have to aim at the player they wanna hit its a joke.

Cant believe a clone was even made that has no penalty for taking damage. Should drain MP atleast!

I am pretty sure this Static shot in combination with clone is a Bug that no one reported ... and i bet they will do nothing to them ... also that static shot bounces from 1 part of the screen to the other ... what is this .... ?

i'm finding it difficult to fathom the logic behind these statements.

1, Static shot in pvp requires you to setup another spell, ie Decoy to use it
2, Moving out of range of decoy makes the tactic void
3, Icestorm is 10x more effective of aoe in pvp than static for the above reasons..

Imagine having to set your mirror (which cant move) down every time you wanted to use icestorm, and when players move out of its range you just lost use of 2 spells.

Secondly the reason Mirror clone drains mana is because mirror clone is actually dealing damage, where as archers clone is effectively useless on that front, thirdly not only is the archer clone passive, but killing it removes the archers ability to switch places.

I thought the archer was only going to be a High DPS Single target character rather then a AOE aswel

I always thought archer were solely high single target damage too... sure ive resd that somewhere on here. From the top dog himself

Turican tell me what is the range of the clone ? since this guy hited his clone and i was on the other end of the screen and his static shot bounced to me and damaged me for half of my hp ... ?

You forgot the part where Ice storm does 30 damage at level 3 on people if your lucky, please stop displaying how clueless you are.

I really don't understand how the GM's are so clueless on class balance. It's early on so i'm not going to have a period, but wizards damage needs upping massively. Gamemasters. Log on a 33 warrior, put it in shop kit. Another gm log on a wizard. try and kill the warrior, with the warrior stood still chugging hp pots. then up wizards damage. I don't mean to sound ungrateful, server is great, I just don't understand how you have not done this yet? Cant comment on archer bug, but ice storm comment was laughable.

Aw mate come on now. Firstly, I appreciate youve bitten off a very large mouthful in deciding to include 2 'new' classes to balance but wow. How can you say it requires you to setup another spell, like that makes the damage and range on the thing okay? Not to mention id lllllove to see the difference in rarity between IceStorm (1, maybe 2 ingame?) and StaticShot(Easily over 15), let alone Mirroring(0, for how long?).

Secondly, you also say move out of range, so any time anyone crosses an archer with Decoy and SS they should run away? Maybe i could get away with this if they didnt have a slow.. And the ability to simply recast Decoy with almost zero cooldown?

Thirdly, IceStorm hits a set area, for moderate damage. SS hits a set amount of players, for massive damage. Im lvl 40 wiz and archer takes 2/3 my hp w/ this spell. 2nd shot kills me. I could stand and IceStorm an archer and he would likely outpot me.

Please, dont come on forums making statements so final, when you are not the one ingame fighting for up to 12 hours a day and expereincing the mechanics of what you set. I really mean that, people will lose faith.

Again, i appreciate you have alot on your plate with balancing, but you need to tweak as the game goes along.... Not just for endgame, because it is so, so far away.

I feel there is a real case of GM's thinking this is just another cry, when it's a serious balance issue. That's the trouble when community whines over everything with incorrect information, real stuff like this isn't dealt with with enough urgency.

I agree with you 100% but don't forget a thing they have the " lock " thing aswell ... ( yellow thing that blocks you and you get extra damage like tdb ) ... i have to agree atm Archers look stupidly OP ... Wizzards are the most weak class ... warriors dunno about them , Assasins ... they were doing really huge damage they got nerfed ... taos ... well taos are taos ... sometimes they are good sometimes are **** ... 1 vs 1 i say taos are crap but when mass pk taos are really usefull

That post was embarrassing to read Turrican.

This is a serious issue, lol. Comparing it to wizards IceStorm which near any class can outpot atm, is laughable. Wizzies are massively undertuned, and that StaticShot is imo, too strong atm - flies all over the screen, makes you yellow, deals ridiculous damage etc etc.

See, I respect Samuel's posts and decisions because he physically works on the client himself. What is it exactly you do Turrican, because you've made several statements that seem to show your knowledge of Mir is... well, lacking? Not a dig really just, curious. There are people playing the game as Advent has said for many hours per day using the mechanics laid out before us and trying to give feedback. If you don't respect the players effort then they won't respect you.

About the yellow attack on archers, at level 2 static i very much doubt you have time to do another attack when they're yellowd.. They have a single target repulse spell that has a cooldown of like 5 seconds, you guys just need to target archers in pvp because they die it like 2-3 hits from a warrior or sin.

I am near lvl 40 Tao got 9-34 SC ... EyeDrops had no problem outpoting my damage ... he had red and green poison i had no pets because ... because in a dungeon tao's pets are useless they go for the mobs or what ever they want to ... so i was hiting this guy and when i was geting him to half hp he was using pots and his hp was back to full ... and guess what i dont he is that high in lvl :)
