I wouldn't mind playing a euro-like server, however i prefer a med rate, if that's possible :001_tongue:

I think todds making a server with our cousin.

Gunna be med-high rate with a ****load of caves.

Might fizzle out so not gunna make an advert.

also we only have 2.3 files available :(

if theres 1 thing ive learnt over the years

-2 many caves is a bad thing
-leveling too quickly is a bad thing (even if pp dont think this)

Bon is right especially with it being high rate, unless you spread the caves out well, alot of them will become desolate, so the mobs will just be more of a burden on the server than anything.

I have plenty of simple ideas that will promote hunting a variety of caves.

Hunting 1 cave, permanently is boring as fk, thts y i quit 4h lowrate.

Opposite for me. I prefer to stay in one cave as you get to know that cave off the back of your hand, spawn times, spawn areas etc.

If you can only keep 1 caves spawn times down at one time, your clearly in trouble.

Time spawns, kill boss, tt , kill another boss, get back for that RS.

@ben, I dont claim to be the master of mir, But hunting 1 cave is boring, unless it has multiple floors with multiple bosses, then its kinda like multiple caves anyway.

Probs wont even get finished as I work alot and todds lazy.

Gold Rate: Med.

DROPS: Med.

Safe Zone:Like bw but ive seen better custom ones were all hunting places are interlinked.

@Commands:Hell yes, love the old cmd way.

Donations: This must be a joke ?

Game Masters: If high player count 4, if not high then 2.

Pet Systems: No.

Teleport NPC: Just towns only let them run or ride.

Also this does not make my ideal server its just the baseline.

1 thing that 99% of servers lack, is the use for gold! its always trading of items instead of selling them for cash.

should make gold harder to get, make people work for pots etc

all the servers ive made has been a use for cash....

the servers you speak of, are servers that have items that aint rare at all, therefore they cannot sell items for gold cause theres no point, may aswell just trade for a different item

problem with cash is no1 ever gets it right..... theres never a balance of say 1mil goin into the server per month and 1mil goin out... there fore gold always just goe up and up and up and eventually items go from 1bil to 50bil

its hard to balance

yh thts wot i mean lol, its cos people put like every mob droppin like 5k+ gold all time, whereas a bundle of pots is only like 2k, when really should be like every mob dropping like 200-2k gold at most and pot bundles bein 2k+

my server combats that gold issue lol......kinda ;p

for my server i had idea of loads of caves... nice choices but then im thinking il end up using bug cave mobs in zt maps n **** like that cause lets face it mir doesnt rly have loads of choice does it? so il prob add fair few caves but try balance it better rather than adding 50 caves n most pointless

and lifco.. more gm's = more chance of corruption... id rather have my self as gm as dunno who else id trust now adays

it is hard to work out.. because obviously if u have say bug cave droping about 100k per hunt, a bag of pots costing 80k... its fine for that level

but in another 20 levels when ppl are at wotever cave.. they expect gold to drop more there, thus unbalancing it

@Shank yer dont get me wrong about the gm's you have to trust them, but iam saying if its a bizzy server you need at least one online all the time.

you need to add more gold sinks in the game, be it repairing / pot prices / even events to unlock new areas which is what i did on nem, require and item + 1mill entry fees, when 500 items + 500mill added to the npc the area unlocks for all. similar to ahn qiraji patch on wow.

good way to take gold out of the server imo.

If gold is dropping easier than you may have planned... increase the purchasing of items and even the repairing of them. That will soon get people thinking of how to spend there money wisely.

I personally think money shouldn't really drop in the leveling caves as such but maybe in the more challenging ones. Also has to drop off all bosses.

Exp: Med-High
Gold: Average
Item stats: Med (high and the pvp is fooked)
Mobs: Plenty to kill but then allows wizards to lvl a lot quicker if mobs not a challenge
Drops: I like to work from my kit, given to you on a plate so to speak at low lvl though
GMs: I would personally like to know a bit about there history
Teleport: defo... hate running to places lol
Donations: sod that
Pet system: To a certain extent yes
