This summer I will have to play on mac and that means playing from windows virtual machine. I am going to use Fusion which uses directX 9.0c

VMware Fusion 5 has 3D accelerated graphics support allowing you to play most games that require DirectX 9.0c with Shader Model 3 or OpenGL 2.1 in Windows

In reviews I read that parallels runs games noticeably faster but that is referring to 3d games and likely doesn't apply to this acemir. I'd rather avoid having to use parallels as it has very onerous registration (calls home and all that $&$%^ :'( )

No you won't have to play on a mac stop lying and don't fiddle around with your config unless you wanna get banned.

Still waiting for some non-stupid answer. Its more telling about you than about me.

I flew overseas and live on borrowed computers and in this case it is old macbook pro 2006 model until I buy something here but I am waiting for new tablet offering, best one of those tablets that can be attached to keyboard, like asus transformers, and with real windows on it... macs I am sorry to say are such abysmal pieces of **** but it will have to do.

Also have borrowed ipad mini but I suppose mir won't run on that no way.

There was some talk about directx here but nobody simply said which version this mir runs on, only what version they'd like to see...

DX8 and above should work fine...

I think I have DX11 installed.
