I'd happily respect any argument with a foundation of coherent, factual or otherwise soundly based data. I've yet to see any such thing from the 'other side'. Just brutish, idiology based drivel, based on nothing more than intentionally ambiguous statements or blatant lies, designed to do nothing more than fool uneducated people, and it worked.

RE cheating: It's not a deterrant, because it's meaningless. cheaters are going to cheat regardless.
If you are sad enough to cheat on a 15yr old game, you really aren't going to care about making a new forum accuont now and again, assuming they even have one.

I used a cheat once. It was on d2, the map hack. But then so did everyone in the end.

I can honestly say I dont recall ever using a cheat otherwise.

There's always the option of the "ghost Effect" for banning
A player can wander around the safe zone as a pale apparition but they can't interact or chat with anything or anyone.

And then everyone says "he used to have a lvl44 Sin but he's just a cheating ghost now"
