i played from BETA to 2.3 basically..
yeah mobs really had a different sound, like OmaWarriors made a horrible/fantastic sound back then.
i used to watch game network too.. i can't remember the name of the guy that played LOM to show the game play.. i just remember that he quite sucked at the game tbh.. remember that once we all grouped and fought in the contest room in BW and he was there as-well.. lol
it was soo freaking hard to pay for this game.. always had problems every month to find a new solution because my parents were mad for the telephone bill since i was on 56k NON Flat when i started..
remember when i moved to ISDN i was doubling the line to get 128k blocking the incoming phonecalls for hours! man that was crazy..
yeah tbh getting to level 35 back then was some kind of achievement to me. won't do it again though

Loved the OmaWarrior sound. I used to get giddy when i heard it and try find/kill it before anyone else came.
Even venturing into Wooma Temple was awesome, seeing if i could kill the mobs.
Hunting Ghoul to try and get a Halfmoon book to sell and become "rich"
Hunting WoomaGuardians to try and get RubyRings.

yeah it's true.. my favorite mob for like 10/15 levels was WoomaGuardian.. it was freaking cool to kill.. then also Rubys were sooooo valuable to me since i was wiz..
there was soo many things to discover.. it was nice because it was all new.. you entered a dungeon without knowing nothing!

remember begging the mother to get a pc and internet back in 03 after seeing it on gamenetwork. 56k modems haha logging out and in half way through a hunt so u didnt get booted of lmao they were the days

I remember collecting skelly helm and rings for my tao getting annoyed cause I couldn't equip it and not understanding how to use them to summon a skelly.
That and awesome fights with DD. And having my name called out on the TV show. Etc.

I went to ZT with some guy. I'd never even beet to Serpent Valley at this point.
He showed me the way, basically ran from BW to SV, then to MP all the way up to ZT.
i got killed by some Bugbats after only a short hunt. Ended up all the way back in BW :'(
I remember running around mongchon shitting myself because I thought there was massive dragons in mongchon because of those giant bones.

Yeah I also would like to see the return of the orig pots, I think they were pre-1.4, with all their naive looks because they fit mir best
I remember like today I reached lev40 in BC connection path in that first cave which was not long after PI was introduced and made that pointless for pple that were getting to 40 after that time, I must have been one of the last who got 40 in BC
Played warr since September 14 2001 on Phoenix and last logged out in PB @lev 46.7 % when the server closed, was it spring 2008 or 2009 maybe?
Sometimes I dream the files with the databases and those nice quests we got made for us are still someplace in Italy, maybe in some storage or on disks inside PCs for sale in some auction...

Yes I saw a few people first few days in the newbie guild say the were new to mir. Hard to believe lol but testament to the longevity of this game I guess. Always get a little jealous tbf remembering how everything felt when ud never been places before
yeah I was well happy was a few more items as well couldn't believe how much cash I made then I was talking to my mate at school and he told me what they worth haha
I sold Luck+2 (or maybe even 3) Lantern Necklace to the shop. i shouted in the town selling Luck+ lantern and this guy PM'd me saying it wasn't worth owt so sell to shop.
He followed me, as I sold it he bought it. PM'd me saying it was the only one ingame and he sold it for loads.
