Why do Subs drop better than Bosses?

I just don't understand it.. I've killed well over 100 (mid level) bosses, WT / RME etc, and i've literally not even had a bene oil. Yet you kill the subs on the way, and you get bene's and intense oils all the time?

I understand they are not the hardest bosses on the game to kill, im not expecting end game stuff.. But just the odd level 36 wep or something, would be good?

Drop rates are drop rates after all.

You could kill Frost Tiger 200 times and get **** all.

I kill it 30 times and get FF book.

It's good, gives the noobs an opportunity to gain abit of cash. Some of us don't have the opportunity to compete and kill the big bosses for the items worth millions, so we're happy to kill a WG/WEB for an 80k oil

I don't even bother killing RME as I would prefer to kill the subs and CS lol , better drops , however it is clearly down to luck, the one time I don't kill it it could drop heaven armor ,
