I'm so sick of hearing "donations" are needed.
No one asked you or cares if you run a server, there are/will be plenty to play.
I'm sure Mir2 wouldn't just wither and die if your server went by the way side.

more long quests are needed
example would be having 3 ppl to clear a room like a bg map full of mobs they wont rs till sum1 teles back in and u cant tele in if a grps in and u could then add bits before this and after long quests but rewarding, add daily quest feature like on Massacre i think u typed @DQ and it gave u a random lil quest to do to gain a prize n that.

having played os i know alot of ppl are bored and they only know 2.6 would of bin added so u can add more kits for ppl to donate for once u get lvl140 on it the game is dead uve basically got uber stats and exp @ 140 is just crap, donations did ruin OS and btw last time i saw Ellmo used NigNog's kit who had donated for full mafia basically.
currently workin on higher level group caves, then am workin on some new low level stuff, then am workin on a lot of long quests.
ive added hell cave, which is a 2hour group killin to get to kr, for a hard boss, altho it does drop really good.
alot more stuff will be comin now we're on 2.6, such as new spells and features
Well this is why i dont play
- GM is a fag. That can barly string a sentance together.
- Server is tottaly corrupt.
- Donation freaks own the whole game.
- Server is full of non english people making it hell to try find friends on there.
- The majority of the community are all idiots.
- Ben sorts his friends out store fulls of mir kits pros para OS kits and much more.
- The server files have leaked to various dick heads.
- There is an npc in his server files which adds luck to people stated in a name list And a couple of other things this npc does.
- Various chars made by bon have stores full of rares and donation kits
- Not to mention fubu and hany are gms
- The GM acuses me of hacking his server just because i know some inside info about it also know someone who has the server files.
- Need i go on?
- i dont sort any friends out with stores of items, so please... provide some proof of all these corrupt acusations please.
-cant do nothing about server files bein leaked, its way of the world, a lot of ppl are greedy idiots that will backstab u in an instance, dont see how that stops u playin
-the NPC that adds luck to a weapon is a GM npc, which only i can use, which is for when ppl wish to buy luck on their weapons, which is all its used for
-only characters made by me and given items are test characters, and are annouced in GM chat when im on it... full server knows it, its no secret.
-fubu is banned, and is no way a GM, hany is a GM as hes helped a lot and proven himself trustworthy
-all hacked items turnt up on your account, IPs all came from you... so yes, it was u.
-maybe when you go on you could provide some proof to back up ur statements?
never really found it fun, hate the whole rebirth thing and subclasses, dislike donations but if they wasnt there server wouldn't still be up i doubt, havent tried it now its 2.6 for some reason i cant get by the login gate

Its fairly each to geto level 70>90 and rebirth now, most ppl do it in a day... and after you rebirth there is no sub class's.... rebirth is like a normal character really, with some extras
you most likely havnt got correct Data or the up to date exe, its changin a lot atm, u'll be able to auto patch when we annouce the proper live in a week
1: Server Is corrupt, after being good m8s with Sayuri (Bens Ex lol), they split up. He perm banned her, (Ip banned her) But while she wasnt banned she was given items,levels, and ExpPots(x10). I dont have screenys but i know its true lol..
2: You keep saying donations are needed, well if you make the server costs from 1 item, then stop selling items for that month ?? You cant cause u love the money.
3: Server was good before these (Updates) witch make the server look stupid, u feel there is no chance of catching up. And yes high lvls pk u in 1 frostcrunch

2. If i were to stop sellin, would mean an unfair advantage on every1 else, as obv its not just 1 person that donates is it... i tried that before, suprisingly a lot moaned and said it was unfair.

p.s but in ben case where he have an dedi to pay , lets say to put them , but not for items or make them unrepairebla or anything else that will not unbalance the server

and no, i was robbed by male friends actually, quite a few times... cause end of the day, im too nice a person, and im quite generous, i used to lend out my kit to a lot of ppl, in the end THEY were the 1s that got greedy and stole off me, ive never stolen off any1, or backstabbed any1 id call a friend over the mir history, do ur research properly little boy. I don't play old skool cos it's a HR server and fubu is a ****.
fubu is banned so thats 1 point down, donations dont make it corrupt, if ne thing makes it more fun that u can go pk ppl for uber rares.
Thats rediculous. He asked for opinions, and donations is a valid opinion. You tell us not to play them if we don't like donations, did you even read the title of this thread? Bon has actually put a pretty good argument in for why he has donations, theres no need for that post.
My reasons :
Donations : I understand why they are there, I don't blame you, but personally I don't like to play anything where I need to donate to compete, P2P I dont mind.
Wils : I can't play a server with such messy wils, it should be kept to just euro wils and a few other good looking stuff, repeat some if you have to.
my arguement for donations is a decent 1, end of the day for the server to stay up allowin ppl to buy items is a must, as it pays for all server costs.
Like i said, who on lomcn is gonna fork out £150 a month for a dedi when he will just get grief, abuse, and slaged off for runnin it.. its no gain, its just work work.
as for the wils.... thats just never gonna happen im afraid, unless u made a euro clone, where ur not gonna go very high, and theres not many items ingame......
OS has a massive amount of items, the db is at like 3.3k+ now... and i have reused some, eg the high level armors are steelarmor / sowg, the few high rare armours are heaven mir and OKS robes.... but end of the day, u need wils to cover it, its not my fault some aint gr8
are you sayin you'd rather every1 look the same? every1 in d robes and wiz robes? that every1 lookin different? if so, thats quite a ridiculus statement
this thread isnt wot i was after really........ i wanted ppl to posts their opinions on how to improve the server... and i mean things that are actually possible, which most that uve said... aint.
eg, no donations - said many times, isnt possible, dedi doesnt pay itself
no crap wils - not possible, unless u want every1 to look the same (which i dont)
On a side note, your all sayin u dont play because of donations and crap wils... so accordin to you lot, when harrys server goes up of "euro wils only" and if he dont take donations (lol if) its gonna be the bestest uberest server around with millions of users? ye right
