why dont you make it easier for people to Download the game? patcher doesnt work

patcher doesnt work, and the links to the full clients in the threads are all broken...
ive tried a few times over the past few months to play this but always give up. Please make it easier to play this game and im sure you will get more new players..?!

I have personally never experienced any problems with the patcher or downloading the game.. Mirchronicles.com has always been the best place to download the patcher.

once downloaded, mir2.exe should be used to play the game, playing via the patcher should only be done after reboots.

Two links, not hosted by us are not working everything else is work fine and very very very few people have any problems.

Ok, well for whatever reason the patcher does not work for me, so I cannot play this game . I have tried running as administrator, using xp compatibility mode, etc.. Nothing works, this is windows 8 is its the problem?

I should clarify, the patcher Runs, but does not seem to download anything. The data files do not download

The game runs fine on windows 8 so it is not that.
It maybe an issue with your firewall blocking the patch program or your anti virus

I had a problem updating the latest patch eventually it worked all by itself very slow took me over a hour to update it ,normally goes straight thru

A lot of Mirians come from a time when computers where as new as SSDs are now. People struggle with all that - full client, installer, auto patcher stuff.

Make a a thread and explain what they are for.

Full client - this has everything you need to start playing the game. Should always have the latest patcher and maps and mobs in it.
Then explain the rest of the stuff. And why they would need to download this stuff. Would be because the client doesn't have the most up to date stuff in it.
Make sure it's working ofcourse.

when this server was new it wasn't easy to find the download links. Had to find specific posts with certain things to download. That Turrican thread looks better than what I remember seeing though. Still it is a bit vague.

Tbh I have never thought to look their for any downloads for the game lol. Would be good to mention that in a thread also. And why to go there.

If they're was just a full client link would be **** because everytime there a little patch they will have to upload the hole thing just so a few people can keep updating and it's more hassle on your behalf, patchers always worked for me had little problem with it once but hour later was fixed :\

I'm just surprised by the volume of people I've met who all play the game through the patcher. The first thing I did when I downloaded the game was find mir2.exe and stick it on my homescreen.

I must confess the first few times I played I launched it from patcher then got irritated at waiting and looked for the .exe in the main folder :P

Probably just cos im impatient though!
