why is my account banned ?

What about the false positives ? when some1 has been semi afk, only chatting in SZ then they get d/c from server an told on log in to turn off the cheats or be investigated ?

all the confremation I need, your detection is flawed and you refuse to see it. was my wife that got this message, on a computer built from my outdated parts mid range quad core vista ultimate , only used for mir and facebook. if anything my char should of show as she lags compaired to me and outhers move faster than I do lol. place all the blind faith you want in this detection, if you refuse to accept there may be a problem, then its your failing. gl with your game .

Ask yourself this, and then rethink your "confremation"... Why would we care if your computer runs slower?
We calculate the time between messages received and if they come in under our minimum expected threshold then they are flagged to us (as you can see from the start of this thread, it does it very well)...
So if your computer is slower, your messages will be received slower... (There is no maximum threshold, why would we care how slow a message comes in?).
Or in your other scenario, you stand in safe zone without moving, this would give you a massive time difference on your next walk/run and again, would not be highlighted to us.
To recap, we calculate the time between received messages, if this is lower than the client natively allows, then you have altered your client to make it run faster.
Science will win over theory one day, I tell ye.
In addition... I find it suspicious that your "wife" was flagging our cheat detection system, but once warned, has not been flagged since... Odd, must be that extra slow pc of yours that is making you run faster.

nothing has been altered . the game was copy pasted from my computer to her computer. I have no interest in playing so im saying this as honest advice, take a step back and really look onto that detection system as something is not right with it. best of luck.
Hi, did you happen to be afk in safe zone? I now know of a number of players who have had warnings and bans for speed cheating - while stood motionless for a few hours! There is obviously something VERY wrong with Samuels infallible detection system if you ask me. Members of guilds like TKO run around in caves at extremely high speeds, yet the people being banned and warned are not moving in SZ. I know I am not alone in saying this - I will be leaving this server, along with a number of other players....cheats are allowed to carry on happily....while genuine players are being banned. I started playing this Mir hopeful that there would be less cheating and more decent players....sadly it is starting to look like since a player became a GM then that has all gone down the drain. Players with family/friends in certain guilds should not be GMs - because believe me, it is starting to look like a very corrupt server to me.A complete waste of my time playing this from it's release

Oh god, did you make another account to try and re-enforce your claim that you've not been cheating...
Just because your stood in safe zone when I happen to log in to warn you (what do you do in sz for all this time that you just so happen to be online as I message you after 2 hours afk? How unusual) doesn't mean that's when the system has flagged you, although it might not seem it at the moment... But I sleep, and I work, these are times when I won't be warning people due to irregular speeds...
My theory, you have an old outdated machine as you previously posted under a different account, other players (TKO) run faster than you due to this, they pk you, you want to get even, so you turn to the dark side... I warn you, you get the arse and here we are.
Whilst I am at it "Undetected Cheats" don't stay undetected for long.

Sarcasm and innuendo - charming traits in a server owner - not. Your system is flawed - deal with it. your server started well...but is dying a little more each day - real cheats are having the time of their lives, drops adjusted to suit certain guilds by all accounts - my "extra slow" pc has had no problems on any other mir server - and for your information Mr High and Mighty....I am the first person to complain about anyone cheating....and would certainly not do it myself. Servers die because of it, and yours will too unless you take a good, hard look at your system. Tell you what....you enjoy your server - while it lasts, because people are already getting fed up. At least I can walk away from this one and look forward to another released soon. I will not stay and play on a server after being wrongly accused of cheating....and with your attitude there is no way I will stay. I hope when your server does die - the warnings we tried to give you about your detection system come back to haunt you
Funny how people have been saying the server won't last much longer, yet it's still going strong and has picked up, if anything. Such a hostile crowd about this server. I guess this has always happened when there has been 100+ mir players in the same place expressing their own opinions.
If you think Sam's server is dying, then theres no point in posting and rubbing it in his face, I'm sure you'll get the last laugh if it actually does. lols

"Wrongly Accused", so far it has 100% hit rate... Even yourself, I warned you and all of a sudden no more reports... To me that's success.
What I translate the above to is, "I was cheating, I won't admit it, but I refuse to play a server I can not cheat on"... In that case, farewell.

again nothing was altered installed or uninstalled , its a sign to me that there is a problem but your arrogance wont let you admit it. as for the sarcastic remark on an extra slow computer makes her run faster, she is forever lagging behind others and don't pvp as she cannot keep up with other payers on her screen.
the real problem is you cannot accept that something you made could be flawed , and that sadly is your failing , I have tried to bring this to your attention , but you would rather play at trying looking witty and sarcastic , say what you want to , but i still say gl with server

I was wrongfully accused like your wife did for speed cheating and got banned. I don't cheat and I am slow ingame (playing on an old laptop) how ironic to be banned under speed hacking.
Just a quick question for you Teri1, does your wife's pc have Host Resolution Priority tweaked? if it does, that could be the possible cause of the problem.

You translate it as you wish, i know I don't cheat - I don't need your approval believe me. I'm just sorry I bothered to start playing this server to be honest...a lot of my time wasted. You just bury your head in the sand, believe what you want.....just don't be surprised when your server goes the way others have. Maybe you don't care about your server....see if you can make some money and who cares about the players? Either way, as of now you can rest assured i won't be entering into any more conversations
