The bug is that it was was enabled to spawn in the first place, and it is highly possible there could be another spawn before our next reboot when sam is back.

Most people are aware that these boss's will be making an appearance in patch 2.0 which is why the drops haven't been committed to the live server files. Somewhere along the lines wires was crossed and something which shouldn't of been updated to the dedi got updated.

That said, i wish i was on at the time to watch :)

You basically give guilds a test run on a new boss your added so they know how to kill ect.

Bosses are there to be killed, it was also a global boss and i believe globally announced so all guilds had the same opportunity's to take a gander.

If anything id say more good has came from it than bad, if the drops had been in and the boss had been too easy then it would of been bad, but due to this mistake it has gave us some insight at least to its difficulty (which we may never of had till its live) and a better estimate on spawn time for the spawn system in place.

Nothing is set in stone in terms of difficulty, and any player feedback is welcomed.

Bosses take about 10seconds to realise whether it's a melee kill, or a ranged kill. Anyone can figure this out, not just the elusive, elite, super-amazing "Curse10" everyone seems to go on about these days.

There is no other way. There is no advantage.

Im not having ago, i dont even play anymore..

But this was the kinda of stuff that annoyed me, the silly little errors,

Obviously some of these things can't be helped.

Someone explain why sticking a boss in a noobie map is a good idea.
most of the bosses are either difficult to get to or take a while to get to or there are mobs in the room which need to be cleared.
A Lord in a limited area isnt hard to find and there are no other mobs to make it even little bit interesting. Unless you have it spawning loads of demon bug bats or teleing when its on low health like the yims and spawning a clone as well its just pandering to the spoilt brat I wanna kill a boss now where everyone can see me types.

Because alot of people have been complaining they would like a boss like OKS used to be, where all guilds could get to quickly and pvp for it :)

what deadgirl said...needs bosses for guilds to fight over. And lords arnt exactly gonna be spawning like normal bosses.dunno wat the counter will be but X amount of bosses in a certain province av to be killed for a lord to spawn so u mite see 1 once or twice a week .having sed all that I hope the drop files will reflect the scarcity and possible fights for lords :D

Lord fights on past servers have been absolutely biblical, sometimes lasting 3 or more hours lol. Lords are very good news. x

OKS fights on euro were fun. But on euro everyone had all skills at level 3 and decent kits and lords werent introduced until the server had been going for years.
At this stage of this server few of the players have decent kits and most guilds have very few members so either you will be outnumbered or outskilled and out levelled.
Sounds like a wonderful 10 mins of play.
OKS was predictable and easy to get to and dropped nice sometimes(but not often). Everyone who wanted to fight went there when they knew it would spawn. And the fights could last for hours when the fighters were evenly matched like I said.
You changed spawn timers you changed location and now you want people to fight anyway. Do you actually know what yr doing?
They are already fighting regularly in Orcs. Orcs is the new OKS why do this?
