This isn't a complaint, just a request for information.
Why do DEs and/or TTs not exist on this server? When you know you're beaten but, obviously, don't want to die, then you usually whack a DE/TT and forfeit your hunt. That's been a part of Mir since the first day of Euro.
I can't understand why you shouldn't be allowed to do so here.
While I can understand having the 5-second rule for those that like to PvP, it just adds another layer of annoyance to anyone who suffers lag. Recent servers I've played seemed to have something that cut you off from the server when you lagged and you didn't get the long pause and then very quick "whack whack whack DEAD" like you did back on Euro.
On Marble, I find I'm back to watching a slow, laggy screen then a 2-second whack rampage and dying. I would usually DE, TT or log out to make sure I don't die, but I can't do that here. I've lag died twice today in places where I really shouldn't be dying.
I realise that a better Internet connection would solve the problem but, sometimes, that's just not a practical reality. In fact, I'm shocked at how bad the Internet is back here in the UK. It really was better back in rural Laos! But that's another matter...
