I'm curious to know if anyone from MS formally addressed in a Q&A or interview why they stepped back from the idea that Win10 would have been the last version of Windows?
It wasn’t addressed, alot of speculation in the community tho. One misconception is that Microsoft said Win10 would be the last, they never claimed windows 10 would be the last but refused to answer the question when asked. They wanted Windows to become a Service.
-Pressure to release a new product for revenue (Windows 10 not making a lot anymore)
-OEM Pressure
ETC
