windows 7 gaming problem

i have w7 ultimate and when ever i try and play a game it is always windowed in a small box in the center of my screen and i am wondering does any1 know how i make it so i can play games on my lappy in full screen as it is starting to piss me off now lol.

Run windows updates, Also try find your chipset drivers. Which will include most of the drivers for your laptop, Also try gettin the latest version of Direct X

Maybe it sets games to windowed mode? Try changing in options to Full screen mode, also what games? If it's just one game, it could be the game.

ive got the same problem, ive got all the latest drivers for my computer,

its legend of mir, big fish games, basically any game that i play, it will have to black lines down the side of it

right as weird as this sounds the only way i managed to get this to work on my cousins win7 laptop was to lower the resolution on his desktop down to what the game would be when you was playing it that way the window'd mode or w/e black boxes at the edge w/e u got will go
