Windows Vista...

Maybe a stupid question(s), but here goes.. :P

Does anyone actually use windows vista?? or just the window vista "them" which makes xp look like vista?? because i have seen various screenshots on here from people which looks like they have windows vista..

But vista isnt released yet oO...

If you are using the theme, please link me up to it, it looks pretty cool ^_^

P.S. I am not CERTAIN if there is a theme, that's just what a mate told me lol -_-

Most people use some sort of Vista theme.

The vista I got up on my site is old, I'll have to update it with the new beta.

Oh and Urban, does Vista support x800xl because I couldn't get the Aero theme to run at all with this card, it always displayed the choppy 'classic' theme.

yep it seems fine mate only prob is that not ALL windows are transparent or whatever lol. But thats not a prob...

Npz I would have had it a few months ago if i knew there really was vista themes lmao.. just did a google search and found it :P I like it alot, just a shame that not all programs/windows are "transparent" But thats no big deal. Btw, it even changes your bootup screen etc, so really seems like you have windows vista ^__^

Install it as it says ^__^ then click cancel on thos "restore original system files" box.. then restart your pc.. another setup thing should come up (i think) and it should be complete oO....

And restart your pc once more just to refresh it and make sure everything runs ok.

That is the theme lol :P When it asks what taskbar you would like, select the "vista" option.

Why would you want ALL windows transparent? I would be pissed if my browser was transparent, it would be stupid.

Well, aparently windows VISTA has the option of having all or none of the windows transparent. I think it looks pretty good, although i wouldnt like my browser transparent (as you say data).

Has anyone got a link for vista beta? i would like to download and install it on my other hdd, give it a test run :P I have browsed about the vista website, but it appears i have to register to download

My dad bought windows VISTA BETA and installed it on his x64 bit pc. It slowed it riiight down. He couldn't even get on the net :/.
I might install the x32 bit version, as you get both when you buy :P. I know you can download it, but meh it was only a tenner ^^.
Although it slows you down, it looks sexxxxxxxxxxxor.
