Windows Vista

lo lo, i just bought a new laptop, it says it's "Windows Vista Compatible"

now, Windows Vista. I know Windows Vista is Software coming out end of year (i think) and i know one of the main difference's is s'pose to be a new user interface. but, is there really any point in upgrading from xp to Vista?

no it uses more ram minumum ram 512 on the a pc to use vista its not worth it u may aswell use the vista theme as i do i have downloaded the windows vista version havent tried installing it im guessing it will make ur pc run slow if its minimum of 512 ram which is alot to run it. Heres how my decktop looks and hopw it wud look with vista installed you would be best off searching google for vista theme for xp and useing it like so:

Vista eats 256MB of ram straight away, then once you have put all the programs you want on there your looking at 384-512mb usage.

Ill stick with XP for a while yet :P

And the theme(s) also uses abit of memory, so i dont bother with themese anymore ^_~

yes senture its really not worth it when u can use the them i found a way around useing any ram useing the theme u install the program to change ur theme change the theme to vista thengogot where u installed the theme program delete the whole folder then your theme runs like the normal theme useing no ram with no program that needs activating

im not entirly sure tbh but i dont have problem with either of those you stated so who knows.
