Leave it 5 mins, then it should open failing that check all IP's and then check DBServer too see if it says disconnected or connect on the top left.

Manually replace ALL of the IP's. Try using 127.0.0.1 and if for some reason thats not working then try your actual public IP, not the IP loop.

Which ISP are you using?

Click: Start

Click: Run

Type: Msconfig

Click: The Services tab

Scroll Down to: SSDP Discovery Service, UN tick it...

Click: Apply

Restart PC ...

Click: Dont show this message at start up again (so the box is ticked) and your done.

Ive done this i have no tick in the box next to SSDP Discovery services so by that im assuming it is disabled...

I think it would probably be alot easier to go back to Windows ME or something

unless anyone else can sort this problem for me? :)

It might be port problems with your ISP. Im just taking an educated guess here but if 127.0.0.1 re-routes the server information through a port (even though the whole thing is offline/internal) it might be restricted to certain ports.

I could only give you a few guesses here as nothing should be wrong.

- Drop any firewalls including the WinXP one.
- Scan for programs hogging ports.
- Quadruple check the IP's in your INI's.
- Check with the ISP for any port blocks in thier connection software.

Other than that I cannot help you, but I can tell you its got nothing to do with Universal PnP (the thing you've already disabled) as if there was the M2server.exe wouldnt load up to where it does anyways.

Good luck. :)
