Wireless is slow

I'm not sure if 50kbps is a good speed when transferring from a wireless laptop to a pc but I'm sure it should be faster? If it is slow could anyone tell me anything about how I could maybe speed it up.

Yeah i found this out with a computer and laptop. Because when one signs in it leeches the other ones speed. So you want the router attached to your pc or laptop which ever you use most. If you are using the sky package it is the yellow cable what goes into the sky box and into your pc or laptop.
