ok its all set up, the pc upstairs can c the network downstairs but the it say its unsecure, when i do secure i need a key were the hell do i get tht :S , ta for reply

just right click and go to the sharing tab and click "if you understand the scurity risks...."
and click the bubble for "just enable file sharing"
the first box lets other comps see the folder and you can rename it, and the second box allows other comps to change the data inside similar to host controller authority.
