Wizard pets

Is there any way you could increase the amount of pets a wizard can take, I don't mean the number of them but I mean the variety?
Currently I'm lvl 26 and can tame 5 black maggots which all be it are fast they really are **** and killing anything at all. I know alot of people will say either lvl up for better pets or "wizzies don't need pets" how ever some players like myself like the idea of having them to aid solo lvling. It would just be nice to have either a NPC you can do quests (like p69) licenses to obtain pets or you could add in some new ones which we can tame from say lvl20+

5 Pets on a low rate at a higher level gives a wizard such an advantage so it will probably be enough.
5 frogs from Fox cave will absolutely destroy people and a lot of other monsters, it's just a matter of getting to the correct level so you can tame them.

5 Pets on a low rate at a higher level gives a wizard such an advantage so it will probably be enough.

You can tame tongs are 29, wedgemoth at 30. If the mob isn't undead and you can repluse it, you can tame it.

While we're at it can archers have 2 pets at once.

That helps how exactly? Of you didn't understand what I meant was wizards from 20-33 having more veriety of pets to tame rather then the few they have .. I didn't mean to give wizards more then 5 pets at once.
