Wizz Magic Shield / Warrior Defiance and Purification - Zircon Server

Hi All,

Im interested in playing this server, saw on some info that a tao can remove a wizz shield with purification?

Tao has already multiple soul fire ball via elite spell, i personally like to play a wizz and dont like the idea that a tao can remove a wizz's magic shield - this spell (i think) is a core wizz skill that should be protected.

Wanted to see what other people here thought about this (especially wizzes). I would suggest that purification can be used to remove buffs, but something like magic shield which is really needed by wizzes should be protected against this.

The same thing goes for defiance. Will this also be removed by tao purification? and if so what do warriors think about this?

Taoist has always been able to do this, no reason for this to change tbh.

If I recalled correctly, in Mir3 Taoists could always remove wiz bubble with puri, but only if the tao was same level or higher. I think it even worked if the tao was lower level, but the chances were very low of it working.

On mir3 puri has always removed shield. It removes all buffs/debuffs (not elixers/cash shop, stuff like shield/defiance/poison etc)

Jamie has enhanced this, so if you puri a group member, it will only remove their debuffs, and keep their shield/defiance on.
If you puri someone not grouped it will remove all buffs. Works a lot better this way so you dont screw your allied wizz up when they get parad.

When removing stuff with puri, each buff (shield/defiance/might - not cash shop buffs or elixers)/debuff (red/green/para) has a chance to be removed, not sure on the % but pretty sure at level 3 it works 100%.

Removing Wizz shield has always been a function of Mir3, and should remain as such, it van often make or break a fight with decent Taoists.

Decent tao; who no longer needs to be decent because augment purification but anyway...

The more spells that have some sort of counter the better, makes you have to actually think about what you are doing, you can't just run around with your bubble constantly up.
