I wont lie, i know about lvling wizzies as im always wiz first then another class for fun, but on this server wiz do seem to have been seriously kicked in the nuts, yeh they are strong ay endgame, but not "the strongest" understand u can still die in 2 hits to any warr/wizz/sin/archer of the samish or lower lvl with decent kit.
but getting to the lvl where the class is viable is much much harder than ive ever seen, specially with spell rarity and spells seeming to do alot less damage for some reason(could be my dire mc).
atm wiz is rock solid to stick with

Why do people think 2 wizzies should be able to take on more mobs at once than a tank class can....
Tstorm has always been broken. Stunning mobs whats that all about. For me.. The reason it has such a large radius around you is so that you can tstorm around your pets... not tank better than a war.
remember that just because its always been a certain way doesnt mean that its right.. Look at slavery for example. Learn to adjust and tend to your crops.

according to your logic pets are are essential to lvling, i should have to spend 30 mins taming pets when i want them, then when they die (or untame), drop everything to go get new ones, just so i can lvl?

our lvling ability in pve has always been the "good thing" about a wiz, now its gone and wiz have been reduced in many other ways, the class is essentially useless for anything solo at lower lvls, even higher ones untill you get the major spells, we cant even solo any bosses anymore, even in a group they are more hassle than help.

Wizzies got the shaft no doubt about that, the mob AI is not needed at all, it only effects range... Sadly the group I play with are mostly wizz lol, they will probs all, bar one roll sins now i guess zzzz, be fun rolling for lootz

On the other hand despite been far away yet, Wizz are going to control the endgame though I can see it now, Euros FF with no paras ingame anti tweaking server etc. The main thing that seperated melee from each other and gave you a slight edge over some ranged has been taken away so it's all about gear and numbers (hello foreign guilds) which imo is boring. Seems we Sins don't get shadow step either, saddens me a bit, but this is a Wizz thread so lets stay on topic.
Funny how i've had a poison cloud book, which i'm told is damn rare, especially coming from what dropped it, seen countless tdb's around yet only 1 MS book ingame.

I know a sin and archer who switched to wiz now so it works both ways once they 30 they are unstoppable

Sin consume the most pots of all classes. The shameful hp pool requires constant relenishment and every swing at aspeed +8 consumes a rather large quantity of mp.
Im not saying rely on pets.. But if you keep dying then your tactics arent working. this isnt euro or any other server since. Adjust to the game stop crying like little girls.
Too noob to play wiz? Play a diff class.. Want wiz to be OP vs masses of mobs go play a different server. Want a challenge? Stick around.

WIzzies are crap..with this many opinions from wizzies who actually have grinded on it, does that not say something or are we all conspiring to get an OP class? No, I have tamed pets a multitude of times just to solo level because without it, you practically can't solo level, well yes you can t bolting one mob at a time, but why should I have to solo level on an aoe class at level 31 with t storm? should I not be able to t storm 3 boars in ST without getting low hp nearly every time the boars hit me? I have to run away from 5/6 woomas t storming else I'll die from the shear damage the do to me, even with the split second stun..this is with level 7 maggots which are rather fast, albeit a bit to fast which should be changed but until you roll a wizard yourself and try to level as a wizard should, fast and aoe then you don't have the right to say wizards are fine, because they are not, feedback is required and a lot of people are giving a lot of feedback on wizzies are they not?
To me wars seem like the most over powered class right not as long as they feel like grinding to 32 and getting tdb as they have a lot of hp and tdb will rape any sin/archer/wiz in 1-2 hits and taos in 3 or 4, maybe less depending on kit's, either way, wiz should be getting 1-2 shot without shield, but now wizzies are getting 35 + with no shield..it took me 3 hours of t bolting spiders in tree valley with 5 level 7 maggots to kill 120 spiders, the time it took me to kill 1 mob, a sin would have killed 2 and started on his 3rd, I didn't even bother to try and fwall lightning kill because I tried that several times already and it's pointless, it doesn't work anymore, everyone saying oh just get another wiz to ts with, yeah sure cause EVERY wiz has a friend that is a wiz and want's to ts with them, also most people quitting wiz now so even less randomer wizzies to group with, EVEN then most wizzies with ts or 30 + are ignorant and only ts with their friends.

we are forced to level with pets if we want to achieve anything which btw takes say 20-30 minutes to tame all 5 then another 15-30 minutes to get them level 7 else they are ****, wt lobby is usually packed, I found a new place to level them which takes even longer but no one tries to pk and more mobs
even with 5 pets, it takes a sin 2 hits to drop us and all our effort is gone to waste which makes you just wanna quit, spend 1 hour getting pets only to die to some random pker tao/sin/archer who drops us in a second without warning, fun...!

I don't want to be extremely powerful, I just want to be able to level fast..like a wiz was designed to be, wizzies haven't been nerfed, mobs have been buffed, damage wise, only nerf on a wizzie I've seen is the rareness of magic shield but that'll probably change soon due to the amount of people talking about it

yes i have used a sin, they use least mp for damage done atm. (obv not counting TS)
who said anything about dying? i said its not viable, the time and effort put in to get 1 lvl at this stage is more than it should be, its not that ppl arnt willing to adjust its just NOT WORTH IT ATM.
