Meh, would have liked the event to be aimed at groups or stuff, might have come back for that.
Double Exp being there just means everybody splits up and spends 4 days smashing lvl's solo or in 2's for the most part.

yes ta Raz. the 24/7 always exp pots players will be ahead anyway. Double exp gets the gap between them and rest just too much.I think he means that the 24/7 players are already a jump infrint of the others, an event like this allows those 24/7 players to jump even further ahead.

Hmm I disagree. Having double exp is absolutely fine, providing it's an award for participating in the event and is distributed AFTER the event, not during. This encourages participation and makes the event much more enjoyable.
how often between each invasion? i'm guessing they'll be random - but do you have a time span like they'll be between 1 - 3 hours apart.
I think some of you maybe confused as to how the event is going to work
Lanterns, Invasions and Double EXP
Monsters will attack Bichon (Invasions), these monsters will attack the Lanterns (and try to but them out) players will need to kill the Invasion monsters and restore the lanterns light
If all the lanterns are still lighting at the end of an invasion then the server will go to double exp, if the players fail to stop the invasion and any of the lanterns are out at the end of an invasion then exp will return to normal.
So say after the first invasion, players win and the exp rate goes to double, if players choose to level during the next invasion and fail to stop it, then exp will return to normal

On killing some bosses (in their temples) a Soul of that boss may spawn in Bichon

Still seems to have the problem that players who play off peak times or in different time zones may not be able to get double exp. IE only 15 active people on the server, event is impossible for the few that are on at that time, no double exp for the players at that time, compared to peak time, 200 active players, 50 do the event and 150 people who just happen to be on at that time get the benefit of double exp.

Dont much like exp events but I like this idea. So earn an xp boost individually like quests do?
It's global
Win the invasion, global exp goes/stays at x2 until the next invasion.
Lose the invasion, global exp goes back to normal until the next invasion.
If players win the first invasion and choose to ignore the next one, they run the risk that everyone else is doing the same as they are. If that is the case, the invasion would be lost and exp would not stay at x2
At the end of the weekend exp returns to normal.

I hope this does not mean that the "off peak" players will have double exp with no invasions to risk taking that double exp away.
That would be very unfair on the "on peak" player that not only has to share hunting grounds with many many other people but also has a larger risk of losing the exp bonus?
If there are to be no invasions through the night then could you please post what time the last one will be each evening so that I can ensure the lanterns all go out so that these off peak players don't get free bonuses.
