there is no point, ww3 would be the shortest war ever i think, soon as nuclear arms started blasting off world would die.

Or possibly that's the simplest answer.
There's still constant conflicts, no-one does or will use a nuclear/biochemical warfare because as soon as they do, they become the target for a return attack, and before you know it the shooters get shot, for being the country stupid/viscious enough to use such an awful tactic. Maybe... anyways.
Admitedly a world war 3 would be the most destructive.
My thoughts.
