A Flash CMS Is Basically a Program that is imported to your Site and when hit a key on your site eg F9 a login box will pop up, You Login and You can edit the Text on Your Site, and then save it!

do you have to have the .fla to edit them still tho? or could you 'theoretically' steal a .swf and use the flash cms to edit it?

Sorry I don't Understand unless u mean this,

In Flash You Can Publish it Via HTML Which then the HTML Basically Reads a .swf you put in your ftp, or im also sure you could adapt it to dreamweaver if you are a coder..

If its the second thing(dreamweaver) ill look into it for you matey

i mean, because usually u need the .fla file (the raw file) to edit an .swf

with this 'flash cms' does it mean you dont have to have that .fla? and can edit straight from the .swf?

No you Dont Need the .FLA you can delete the Fla If You Dont Wanna make eny more interface Edits, The CMS WORKS VIA THE WEB No need to reupload ever agen
