WTF? need help...

Ok im thinking about getting a proper job rather then a ****ty paper round.

I wanna save up for a

Intel Core Duo 2 1.86 ghz x 2

but what motherboard do these fit in ?
what sockets are they .
Its my first time using a Intel Processor and motherboard so im pretty clueless.
I have a G card and gig of ram ready just need a new cpu and motherboard.

Just installed one myself, pc is ALOT faster and more sponsive now.

Socket = LGA775

The mobo i got was only 40 quid, its a good starter i supose. Eventually once i have abit more cash ill buy a better mobo.

thanks man.. i only need a new mobo because atm im using a mobo with slot 754 , its terrible , not to mention my Amd Sempron 3400+ -.-..
i need better if i wanna play Crysis on medium.

Its good for the price. I went for it because i am abit short on cash atm, and the processor cost abit more.

I reccomend (like most would) that you buy a better graphics card, as the onboard graphics is on 64mb ><.

Is your ram DDR2? If i remember rightly you need DDR2 for core duo.

Yep stone, DDR2 533mhz RAM. ^^

Cost me 55 quid for 1gig stick of RAM heh., im not sure if thats a good or bad price for DDR2?
