Hi there,
As it is, due to my past experiences of virus's, I think i'm going to leave my firewall up (XP Default on). So, can any one tell me the 3 (Think its 3) X-Box LIVE ports, so I can forward them please?

For NAT devices, no port forwarding is required for Xbox Live to work. Port forwarding is required only if you are running a proxy server or true firewall instead of or in addition to a NAT.

UDP 88, UDP 3074, and TCP 3074

What kind of firewall are u talking about? A hardware router? You said default on by windows xp... are u talking about the built in xp software firewall and sharing your internet by ICS?

I'm just linked via Network card m8 (Modem > PC > X-Box), and yes, the built in firewall, on my internet connection.

How much does it cost to set it up and is it a hassle in any way?

No hassle, xbox.com will help you, and they got a support line (telephone) for 26 countries. It costs £40 (£39.99) per year, that price is included in the X-Box LIVE Starter kit (which is £40 (like I said, that pays for the year as well)).

Have fun :P
